Dagster
PyPIdagsterDagster is a data orchestration framework focused on asset-based pipelines, where software-defined assets represent the outputs of computation (tables, files, ML models). It provides lineage tracking, I/O managers, and resource injection. Production deployments use Dagster Cloud or a self-hosted Dagster daemon with access to cloud storage and databases.
Checking Dagster
dagster 1.8.0 is a clean version with no known supply chain compromise. The response returns compromised: false with an empty sources array.

}Why this package is monitored
Asset-based pipelines map code artifacts directly to production data systems. A compromised orchestrator package can intercept the resource injection step to capture credentials before they reach user-defined pipeline code.
Attestd monitors dagster using the following detection sources:
registryManually curated advisories in the Attestd registry, verified by a human analyst. Confidence 1.0.
osvOSV.dev malicious-package advisories with IDs prefixed MAL-. Confidence 0.95.
pypi_yankVersions yanked on PyPI with a security-related yanked_reason annotation. Confidence 0.80.
